Feb 24, 2021 · This probably 1960s Vintage H.Couf mouthpiece is a gem. This was their Artist Jazz model with a fairly high step baffle with under cut rails and a nice round chamber. Tip, rails and table are perfect and this passes the POP test just great. Pic are shot from every angel, with and w/o flash in attempt to fully show everything. Ships Mouthpiece only. No cap or lig. Feb 29, 2020 · Its an Artist J9*S that I've been using on my tenor since 1978 and I didn't realize it was a Couf. This mouthpiece makes some huge volume. I think its the step-baffle that gives it the easy-blowing big sound. I've recently obtained a Berg Larson 080 with a step baffle that is a bit tamer that the Artist, for use in concert band.
