    Nov 19, 2018 · Nagasawa’s parents lived in Salt Lake City in an area of a few square blocks—“Japantown”—where they had a fish market. It was like “a big, extended family.” All the land was owned by the Mormon Church and, in 1968, the Japanese community was fractured under redevelopment. Craig was twelve years old, the eldest of four siblings.
