My name is Darren Jones, also known as Mr. Cab. In 1985 I injured my right foot on an oil rig and I took up painting canvas to keep myself busy while I recovered. This quickly blossomed into a love of art and a way of expressing myself. In 1993 I took the next big jump in my repertoire as an artist and began chainsaw sculpturing.

Forever in the Clouds, Estevan, SK. Carved with a chainsaw by sculptor, Darren Jones, Forever In the Clouds is a tribute to the 21 servicemen who lost their lives on Sept.15, 1946 in a plane crash at the former Estevan Airport site less than one year after returning from WWII. All of the men’s faces are incorporated in the carving. The permanent location of this monument is yet to be determined.
