250 x 200 mm David Dipré undertook a Foundation Course at Camberwell College of Arts and studied fine art painting at the University of Central Lancashire. His work has been seen in group exhibitions in the UK including the BP Portrait Award 2001 and 2002. This self-portrait was made from direct observation working entirely in natural daylight.
