Jan 29, 2014 · Born in Belmond, Iowa, on May 12, 1931 David E. Glines was a California artist who distinguished himself in woodcut printmaking. He lived primarily in Los Angeles. After serving in the U.S Army during the Korean War, he received a master's degree in art from UCLA in 1958, studying chiefly with noted printmaker John Paul Jones.
