Oil painter and pastel artist, David Lawton has been painting for over thirty years. He began studying art a very young age. At the age of sixteen he was invited to a summer workshops in Scotland to study with George Devlin, a well-known Scottish artist. He also studied portraiture for many years under the tutelage of nationally known portrait painters, Cedric and Joanette Egeli.
