Lazarus, David. (British-American, b. 1952) Lazarus studied at the Bath Academy of Art in England. He came to Nantucket to do scrimshaw in the 1970’s after working with the scrimshanders in Bellingham, Washington, and he scrimmed for the Four Winds Craft Guild after Robert Spring left. He joined the AAN as a printmaker but now works most often in watercolors and oils.
