David Nash is a British sculptor and Land artist working primarily with natural materials and live trees. His wooden sculptures are made using heavy equipment including chainsaws and blowtorches, and he morphs trees into unexpected shapes in his works such as Oculus Block (2010), in which he melded two Eucalyptus stumps into a solid square.
