Landscape painter David Prentice was born in Solihull on the 4th July 1936 and died at Malvern, Worcestershire on the 7th. May 2014. At the age of 13, David was awarded a place at the Moseley School of Art, Birmingham. He attended the school between 1949 and 1952 when he left to become a student at the Birmingham College of Art, where he remained until 1957.
