About Dianne L Gardner. I've been painting in oils ever since I was a young child, as my mother was an oil painter. She had me tutor with a well known sculptress back in the 1950s, and again I worked with a sculpture in the early 70s. I've taken art courses and private lessons as well as workshops with known artist Ned Mueller, and John Henry Waddell.

She is a signature member of Puget Sound Group of Northwest Artists and has studied with notable masters such as John Henry Waddell, master sculptor in Arizona and Washington artist Ned Mueller.

The Artists bio I came to live and work in Ayrshire in 1972. I paint mainly landscape, and the countryside in this part of Scotland is a main source of inspiration. Quite often I work to a theme, for example last Winter I used my daily walk to the shore to provide the subject matter.
