I use it with an Ibanez JEM 7V, and a Mesa amp Boogie.Tous effects are usable and have a realism certain.J 'I proceeded to change my GSP 2101 by changing both corny, and for the model Artist. Easy to make, but watch out for welding, not cutting tracks during assembly. OVERALL OPINION4.5/5(17)

Feb 18, 2020 · Posted July 20, 2010 I just won an auction for a digitech GSP 2101 preamp/processor. A band I was in many years ago used to play a lot of shows with another band who's guitarist used one of these these and I always liked his tone back then. I have really been digging my modded ADA MP-1 that I modded for a more JCM-800 type gain.

Apr 16, 2007 · Digitech notoriously puts their own sonic STAMP on the tone coming into the 2101. So even though I own a Mesa Boogie TriAxis and an ADA MP-1 preamp (which sound DRASTICALLY different), when I feed that preamp signal into the 2101, bypassing the preamp section, it STILL sounds like a Digitech preamp.

Nov 05, 2018 · My other 2101 has the latest chip as well but no ppcx2 (a friend gave it to me broken...it needed a new transformer). Seamless works really good as long as both patches are run on only one ppc (not a dual board preset) delays and verb carry over iirc and you can adjust the "ramp" time.
