Feb 12, 2017 · Then the artist did his job. The bottom line is that at the end of the day, it is just a painting. We don’t worship it. And we don’t claim historical accuracy about it. It’s just an artist’s way of trying to bring the thoughts of Christ to the viewer. And it appears to do just that. Gramps
