Don Cooper (b. 1944) grew up in Georgia and has lived primarily in Atlanta since 1976. He received his M.F.A. from the University of Georgia, and has taught at West Georgia College and the Atlanta College of Art. Cooper’s art has been inspired by travels in the US, Britain, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Italy and China.
