Oregon sculptor Donald Wilson intended his piece Holon to be whole, with integrity on its own while being a part of a larger system. Holon is the most recent addition to Porland's famed Park Blocks. Holon comes from the Greek word "holos," meaning whole or complete in its parts.

You can see the piece by artist Don Wilson at SW 6th and Washington Street, by the Hotel Monaco. The piece was commissioned with the hopes of making the transit mall more people-oriented and attractive. His 43 year academic career has included work with children and adults as Library Media Specialist, Public Librarian, Assistant Professor of Library Science, and University Administrator.
