Jul 08, 2012 · In EAC, I fill in CD Artist at the top and EAC automatically populates the Artist on each track with the same thing. Once I generate mp3's, it looks like EAC (or lame) is only setting Artist. The cd/album artist is left out of the tagging process. Am I just missing a configuration somewhere?

Sep 10, 2007 · EAC makes a WAV file and collects the tag data from the internet - then hands it over to the encoder with a set of instructions (the line above). The "artist=%a" bits are what the FLAC encoder adds to the tags. %a is the artist name, trouble is EAC has not been able to get it for some reason.

Think I have got a workaround. I have scanned the album cover and saved it as cover.jpeg I then just dragged into the cover window as seen on the right hand side.
