When I have a Various Artists CD, the "Disc Artist" is Various Artists, and each track will have the actual track artist in the Artist tag. This allows you to have all of the tracks grouped in one folder, even though the artists are different. Perhaps that will help you.

Oct 07, 2007 · I dont have the "Use various artist naming scheme" box checked. At the moment my settings are such that when i rip a Soundtrack CD, EAC creates a folder for the Artist, then the Soundtrack album name, and then creates the FLAC file.

The only other option was dBpoweramp Music Converter, but it was not as accurate as EAC, it didn’t handle Compilation CDs (i.e. Various Artists CDs) well, and it didn’t handle queued ripping very well.
