Edith Walker Oliver was an intriguing lesser known artist who created realistic etchings of local scenes. She was a member of the Arts Club in 1933 and 1934, where she also exhibited her work. She and her mother continued to spend their summers in her native Chicago but in 1935 Walker took up permanent residence in St. Augustine when she married carpenter and builder, Robert Oliver.
