Schoyer focuses mainly on the abstract rather than the realism. I took this course as an Intro to Drawing but felt behind (even though I had taken Art in High School). Others who had never taken art felt and soon fell behind, since she doesn't actually teach and demonstrate skills, she simply tells you what to do and gives moderate feedback.
