Emily Nixon. Emily Nixon has a background in many different artforms. After studying textiles at Goldsmith's College and followed by a postgraduate year at the Warsaw Academy of fine Art in Poland, she became preopccupied by tapestry, sculpture and conceptual art. During the 1990's she was a curator, both at my her gallery in Edinburgh and as Director of Newlyn Art Gallery in Cornwall.
