Erin Elizabeth Curtis was born in Albany, New York, in 1977. She attended The Glasgow School of Art in 1998 and graduated from William College with a BA in Liberal Arts in June of 1999. In May 2007, she received her MFA from the University of Texas at Austin, and she attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2010.
