Even as a .5 second cast it's insanely useful. As a Gnome Mage I'm unstoppable - literally. Between Blink, Escape Artist, and Insignia of the Alliance I can escape nearly any situation. If this becomes instant in TBC, it will be well and truly useful.

Jun 21, 2012 · The benefit of having a generic /use 13 macro is that it will change based on whatever trinket you have equipped, so you don't have to drag a different one in two places (once on your character, once on an action bar slot). but its just 1 mouse click, plus u have the correct tooltip, which is a reason to do so (at least for me) :P

Nov 06, 2020 · You can’t trink and remove garrote. Trinket prevents you from being able to cast stoneform. unless you remove the garrote 30 sec after the trink. You could before the change. Which is why I mentioned it. Patch 6.1.0 (2015-02-24): When used, now triggers a 30-second shared cooldown with other PvP trinkets that breaks crowd-control effects.
