Her work is owned and displayed by the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Chicago Museum of Art, and the Cincinnati Art Museum. Frances, one of four daughters, was born in Lansing, Michigan to Ann and Hart Farrand in 1878.
