Francis Bindon (circa 1690-1765), Portrait painter and architect. Artist associated with 7 portraits Francis Bindon studied at the Academy of Painting in London, under the guidance of Sir Godfrey Kneller, after which he established himself as a portrait painter.He later turned to architecture and designed several houses, particularly in his native County Clare.
