While working with Portland artist and teacher Emerson Christoff I developed my current landscape style which is influenced by such pre-impressionist painters as George Inness, Asher Durand, and Jean Baptiste-Corot. My figure and portrait style was developed while living in Clarksdale Mississippi and painting with students of Marshall Bouldin III.
