Jeff Rigby, born in 1948, is a Sydney artist and while he is best described as realist, it is the “look” of reality, rather than truth for its own sake that is important to him. He always feels free to make changes, to add or subtract elements from the subject for the sake of the picture, although sometimes the subject is complete in itself and no reinterpretation is necessary.

The engraving of the kudu has taken Geoffrey 15 hours to complete and is one of his first works of art, having engraved the plate while completing his studies at the Liege School of Gunmaking in Belgium. What makes it even more unique is that this original plate was used as part of Geoffrey’s portfolio in applying to join the Rigby team.
Prize winning Australian artist, Kevan Rigby, works in both oils and watercolours. He is well regarded by art collectors worldwide.
