George Kenner (1888 – 1971) George Kenner was born on 1st Nov 1888, one of 12 children, in Upper Bavaria, Germany. At the age of 22, his love and talent for painting led him to travel to London to study commercial art, eventually setting up a commercial art business with a British colleague. When not working he travelled around the country by bike and train.

I was born near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. in 1937 after he successfully situated himself with a house and a growing self-employment as a commercial artist. George contentedly remained at this location for the rest of his life.George always spoke of England itself and the folks there with fond memories;-even of the internment years themselves with all the life learning experiences he had.
