Bio. Born in the UK of Greek parentage. After leaving the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, Levantis accepted an Artist Placement Group residency with Ocean Fleets of Liverpool, taking him to Japan, Africa and South East Asia. The work produced constructions, made from canvas, paint, bamboo etc. – materials acquired in different ports.
