Mar 04, 2014 · George Lorio is the recipient of a 2013 Individual Artist Fellowship in Sculpture from the Delaware Division of the Arts. His work draws on the political and cultural climates found in the communities which surrounded him during his youth in New Orleans and the decade he recently spent near the United States border on the Rio Grande.
