Jan 23, 2018 · Ohr was known to cull his own red clay from the nearby Tchoutacabouffa River; he would use a barge to float it home. He created conventional, utilitarian wares, like pots and pitchers, but also chimney flues and sewage pipes. Ohr would continue to create these functional works alongside his experimental art pottery.

Sep 07, 2019 · Artist Statement. I see the spaces between points as active elements to be exploited within my creative process. I work within a language of dimensionality, modularity, directional forces, and momentary interactions with history, and the mainstream western news media. I use the material of wood to launch an investigation into the spectrum of the abstract and following all of it’s possibilities.
Artist Statement. Much of my work in Newark uses the city as its source. I am also a preservationist and architectural designer. I record Newark matters and celebrities in ink paintings, public art proposals, playground designs, and porcelain vases.
