By 1938 George Rozen was prosperous enough to leave NYC and move to East Williston, NY, on Long Island, where they happened to live on 10 Shadow Lane. The artist worked from a home studio located on the second floor. On April 23, 1938 a traffic accident killed Jerome Rozen's wife and left Jerome in the hospital for ten months.

Several of his covers were later featured on various Shadow Comics, also published by Street & Smith . George's twin brother, Jerome George Rozen, worked on The Shadow Magazine too.

George Rozen is known for Illustrator, pulp mystery-western. A twin brother of illustrator Jerome Rozen, he was a skilled, pulp illustrator who produced "Shadow" covers from 1932 to 1939 and in the early 1940s and also for many other western publications. He settled on Long Island, and worked many years as a cover artist for Street & Smith.
