May 09, 2016 · Give yourself at least 24 hours to clear your mind. The bigger the decision, the more time you may need. When I’m thinking of giving up on a drawing, I allow a day or two, or sometimes a weekend, to decide whether or not to continue with that drawing. Then I look at the drawing with a fresh eye and then decide what to do.
