Immediately after graduating I began part time work at the Penticton Art Gallery (1991) where I met my wife and fellow artist Camille. She’s a `talent, check her out at Funky Face Art by Camille. Most of my early career was consumed creating public murals, commissions and later exhibition projects.

My entire adult life commission murals have been a way to put running shoes on mine or my kids feet. It’s hard work being a scaffold monkey, enduring the elements in the worse of conditions. I’ll never forget in 2000 being 25 feet up scaffold in a garden bed painting the Penticton Vees mural and being hit by a torrential wind gust.
