The Argentine artist Graciela Carnevale was born in 1942 in the town of Marcos Júarez but moved to Rosario when she was a teenager. She graduated from the Escuela de Bellas Artes, Universidad Nacional de Rosario, in 1964 and has served on its faculty since 1985.
