Gustav Wilhelm Krollmann (Austrian-American, 1888-1962) was a painter, muralist, illustrator, lecturer and teacher. Born in Vienna, Austria he later immigrated to the United States to settle in St. Paul, Minnesota. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, exhibited at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and was a member of the Minneapolis Society of Fine Art.

Nov 19, 2015 · Krollman designed a series of posters for the Northern Pacific Railroad using images "that displayed a strong sense of modeling and a richness of color" (Zega p. 83). Few other biographical details are known about the artist except that he was of Austrian descent, and settled in Minneapolis where he taught at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
