BIOGRAPHY: Guy Buffet was born in Paris, France on January 13, 1943 and he instantly showed a keen interest in art, drawing on napkins and linen tablecloths during his childhood. At the age of 12 his mother gave him his first box of paints, a couple of brushes, a wooden easel and several canvases. The young Buffet's artwork was soon being displayed on the falls of the family restaurant.
