Situated on 600 acres in the mountains of north Georgia, Hambidge is a sanctuary of time and space that inspires artists working in a broad range of disciplines to create works of the highest caliber. Hambidge offers residencies of two weeks to two months to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers on 600 wooded acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northern Georgia. Residents are provided with a private cottage with a bedroom, studio space, kitchen, and bathroom. The cost of the residency is $250 per week, which includes some meals.

The Friends' of SPRI Antarctic Artist in Residence travels south with the Royal Navy on board HMS Protector in the Winter or Spring for a 4-week placement during the Antarctic summer season.
