Harold Jackson Alfred is from the Kwakwaka’wakw Nation and is a ‘Namgis artist from Alert Bay, B.C. currently living in Victoria, BC. Harold has been creating artwork for more than fourty years and has had the privilege of working with and learning from such artists as Tony Hunt Sr, Beau Dick, Wayne Alfred, Doug Cranmer, Henry Hunt Sr, Oscar Matilpi and Bruce Alfred.

Carving since the 1970s, Harold's artistic training includes jewelry design, carving and general fine arts at Malaspina College in Nanaimo BC.
