In 1961, Harold was born in Squamish, British Columbia into the Coast Salish Nation. He takes the Killer Whale and Thunderbird as his family crests, both revered for their size and strength. Harold became involved in making native art eighteen years ago when he was drawn to his family traditions while exploring his heritage.
