Helen Monro Turner (16 December 1901–1977) was a Scottish artist based in Edinburgh. She worked her whole life and pursued three careers: wood cut specialist, glass engraver, and teacher. She helped open and establish the first glass engraving department at Edinburgh College of Art on 8 January 1941.

Died 1977. Nationality Scottish. Helen Monro Turner was a hugely influential glass-engraver and illustrator who was born in Calcutta and raised in Edinburgh. Monro Turner studied wood-engraving at Edinburgh College of Art and in 1938 she was awarded the Andrew Grant fellowship which enabled her to study glass-engraving with Professor Wilhelm von Eiff at the School of Applied Arts in Stuttgart.
