Hilary Peterson Visual Artist - Pambula textiles, painting, artist's books . My work brings together a love of the natural world, its colour, pattern and texture combining drawing, printing, painting, dyeing, fabric and stitch. Initially trained as a commercial textile designer, working in Sydney and London, designing carpets, commercially printed fashion fabrics, furnishings and wallpapers. She completed a Master of Visual Arts degree in 2002. Research areas of interest involved landscape, the natural world, inter-connectivity/interdependence and place.
