And while I certainly agree that it isn't possible for Artisteer to understand all CSS/PHP/HTML and what have you not, out there that people mocked up and then want to edit in Artisteer, I would certainly expect it not to be too difficult for Artisteer to import it's own exported .zip files since it only has to reverse its own actions and syntax.

I have personally made a lot of templates with Artisteer and all of them are working fine. Especially artisteer version 4.0 is performing really good and it is perfect for html5 based templates. May be version 1-2.xx was not upto the mark.
