Apr 12, 2012 · I'm also a 20+ years professional programmer with experience in many areas, and I'm extremely interested in this import feature, and looked at Artisteer .artx (= .zip) files, and at Joomla templates, e.g. the "beez_20" template, and my impression is that such an import feature would be extremely difficult to program.

Jan 05, 2017 · And while I certainly agree that it isn't possible for Artisteer to understand all CSS/PHP/HTML and what have you not, out there that people mocked up and then want to edit in Artisteer, I would certainly expect it not to be too difficult for Artisteer to import it's own exported .zip files since it only has to reverse its own actions and syntax.

Jul 28, 2013 · Might not be a bad suggestion for the future though, if Artisteer could unpack a template zip file, import it all and then you could edit it from there, well, that would be good for Artisteer, but probably terrible for web designers (as it could then in theory easily import other professional templates for you to adjust and build on...)

Jan 16, 2011 · Importing templates would be a. intellectual property infringement b. incomparable in many instances c. raise the price of Artisteer. The best option is to allow code editing as well as basic html, css, php, jquery etc import.

Jul 29, 2015 · I think this is very serious issue for joomla. I have tried with joomla 2.5 and joomla 3. same issue , unable to import content from the Atristeer templates . Some time it is success but when I open the template most of content are missing. and also some time importing will fail. Artisteer team , please help us . Regards Luke Vic
