Richard Royal is known internationally as one of the most talented glass artists in the world. A native of the Northwest, Royal began his career as a glass sculptor at the Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle. After years of hard work, and a stint as a gaffer for glass legend Dale Chihuly, Royal finally emerged as a solo artist in the 1980s.
