May 23, 2017 · I prefer to view my music by artist alphabetically. For some reason my Itunes refuses to sort my music alphabetically by artist. I do not have this problem by song title. This is what I have done to try to fix this: - Upgrade to the most recent version of itunes - Select the song and chose "info" then deleted the artists name and retyped it.

I find it really tricky to find a song I like since I usually search them by the song title and not the artist.

Nov 20, 2016 · On the iPhone, I only have a couple of guesses...it's possible that you have selected to sort the library by "Genre" in the alternate settings function of the Music app...that or you have your playlist library showing, which will be in order of how the music was added to each list.

So no alphabetical, but the 'search' bar can help. I found that typing a single character, e.g., 's', will bring up a list of artists NOT in alphabetical order, nor will they necessarily start with the letter 's'. Hope this helps. I'm not really liking the new update. Seems pretty brokent to me.
