If you want to see all songs sorted by artists (one big lists of all your songs sorted by artist) go to Music-->Artists--> All-->All. That will take you to a list of all songs sorted by artist. Aug 15, 2007 · You can not click on one of the artists to get all the tracks from the that album. You have to know the name of the album and find it that way. The good news is that iTunes helps you solve this problem with a “Group Compilations When Browsing” and the option on the iPod is just called “Compilations” under the Settings menu.

Dec 28, 2007 · However, when I search by Artist most of the Artists do not appear. For example I have 3 songs on the iPod by Akon, each on a different album, but Akon does not appear in the Artist list, so I have to either find these songs by searching the song list or through the Album list. All 3 of these songs have the same artist name on my iTunes.

Dec 07, 2007 · If the “Compilations” menu is hidden, the iPod will list all artists in the artist listing, and ignore the “Part of a Compilation” setting in each track. Note that this works a bit differently on the iPod touch and iPhone than it does on the iPod classic/nano.

Sep 11, 2007 · The iPod classic and iPod nano do not presently recognize the Compilation or "Album Artist" fields, and therefore any compilation or "various artist" albums will show up multiple times -- once for each artist, which is particularly annoying. In fact, the new iPod models no longer appear to have any "Group by Compilation" support.
