Sep 01, 2013 · Ive tried this, but for mix albums i wish to keep the 'album artist' as 'Various Artists' so it only shows one album in album view but in artist view i want it to sort by artist not album artist so it ignores the 'various artist' and looks at the actual artist for each song so it lists the songs properly under their respected artist name.

Sep 22, 2013 · I went into the Songs list and picked WGH from the albums column, then by picking "only the first song" I was then able to edit that song and then select Next and Previous. The endless combos of the various Artists and Album Artist, Sort Artist and Sort Album Artist and all the various PM and PM&W designations were a nightmare.

Jan 15, 2016 · However on my iPhone 6 in any music app, when I go to Album and it will appear. If I go to Compilations, it will show 75 entries (one for each track) listed as V/A - Chimes of Freedom and they are sorted by the Artist name. When I changed the Album Artist and Sort Album Artist to "Various Artists" there is no change.
