J.B. TAYLOR - Italian Paintings. During his sabbatical year in London, England in 1956-1957, J.B. Taylor was also able to holiday in Italy and fell in love with the classical architecture and the ancient walls of the northern hill towns and Rome. He depicted them using watercolour washes and pen and ink, He returned in 1961 and moved to a more abstract style of representation using mixed media and acrylic.
