Jan Boone served as President of the Women’s Art Club of Cincinnati. She is a Signature Member of the Cincinnati Art Club, the second oldest art club in the country. By the club’s own creed, “Members exhibiting under this banner meet the historical standards of excellence established by the founding members in 1890, and have passed an anonymous review.”

Jan Boone Jan Boone was raised on a farm in Northwest Ohio. She received a BFA in painting and graphic arts from Miami University, met the love of her life, and went to work at Gibson Greeting Cards in Cincinnati. A couple of decades later, Jan had produced two children, ended the career in commercial art, and began painting again.
