Janaki Lennie I work to reconcile romantic, art historical notions of landscape with the reality of the increasingly urban environment. I was born in 1956 in Melbourne, Australia and raised in the coastal suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, arrived in the United States in 1994 and currently live and work in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
