An Artist’s Statement, The Sounds of Forgetting: An Aural Exploration of Memory and Perception The Sounds of Forgetting is a sonic exploration of a failing memory. My intention was to create a soundscape of a mind suffering from dementia in which the listener is immersed in a disorienting chaos of memories, thoughts, and experiences.
